Very interesting, all of these comments sound similar to effects of naltrexone (when it works for people). I'd be curious to hear from a list of people who have tried both to see if they think they have very similar effects, both on cravings and on the feeling of drinking itself. It might be these medicines are just functionally like naltrexone (it also wouldn't surprise me if it was basically the same effect but stronger, since naltrexone is sometimes used for food cravings as well).
